- KEIL_v5.11a - Problems with the FW of ST-LINK-v2
The new KEIL_v5.11a ver. 5.11.1.0 have some problems with the FW installed in ST-LINK-v2. Up to now, 06-September-2014, I
discovered that is not possible use the last version of FW on
ST-LINK-v2 (V2.J21.M5) because if you use this version of FW is not
possible enter in KEIL debug. When you press the debug button you receive the following error:
The workaround for resolve this issue is install a old FW version on ST-LINK-v2. Do this steps:
Go in the directory: C:\Keil_v5\ARM\STLink
Run: ST-LinkUpgrade.exe
At the end of this procedure your ST-LINK-v2 is ready to work in conjunction of KEIL_v5.
I tested two release of FW that works and are: V2J20M4 and V2J20S0
